Ok, it's not a proper application but a simple script which changes the calendar icon on your Sailfish OS device accordingly with the date.

It's been around for some months now, but recently I decided to write a wiki to let other people properly hook to my script and add the holidays icons they want - e.g. an Italian holiday pack, rather than a French, a Christian or an Islamic one, to name a few.

The result is this page on GitHub.

Since my coding skills are more or less the ones of a donkey, the script is really barebone and I've been having some headaches with systemd timers, so everybody is welcome to contribute and share their thoughts and suggestions on my work. Hope you enjoy it and I'll see a lot of icon packs around!

Peace!

Aha, and I thought that the calendar date was broken when I saw the weird icon....

Is there also a way to have NO holiday icons?
Because it doesn't make sense to me... I don't celebrate anything

It was a Finnish flag for itsenäisyyspäivää, but I admit it was an holiday quite hard to guess!

Btw, if you want to get rid of all the holiday icons unzip the content of this zip in /usr/share/harbour-dyncal

Hi. For some reasons I can't open your "000.psd" file.
Gimp write me "Error loading PSD file: Not a valid Photoshop document file"
Can you please reupload this icon here, and better if you can recreate this icon with all numbers (from 1 to 31), that user can just hide not needed numbers in gimp/photoshop.
Thanks

Never mind, I created new PSD file with 3 groups of numbers that user can hide or delete if don't need them

Ohhhhhh, for some reasons, gimp not saved my layer groups
Sorry....

Hi fravaccaro
I'm creating now icons for Israeli holidays for 2016 (days changed every year).
I want to post it as extantion to your app and like a standalone app. Is this ok from your side ?

Wooooops, I completely missed this thread, I'm sorry!

It sounds weird, as I created that file with Gimp itself, but I'm glad you sorted it out. If you don't mind, I'll update the psd on github with yours.

Sure! Feel free to use the sources anyway you like Just please make clear to users to not install both mine and your version (if you go with a standalone app), or they'll end up with overlapping systemd services (and timers).
