Provided you have the up to date repo's in your source.list and you're not afraid of the terminal;

After that, the easiest way is to rename your subtitles to the same name as your video file as it will automatically play. Otherwise you'll have to use a format likeCode:apt-get update & apt-get install mplayer
Some people hate it, perhaps because it's a terminal app, for me it's my most used vid-app on both my phone and my desktop.Code:mplayer -sub </path/to/subfile> /path/to/videofile

And another question: im trying to instal duckduckgo search but i get an error about a folder bin/dpkn or bin/dpkv. Install dosent complete.
