But isn't one of the main points of Sailfish UI that the device can be operated with one hand more or less regardless of its screen size?
Things like pulley menus, edge swipes and long press to e.g. close apps are comfortable moves no matter how big the screen is.
Of course swipe from top and especially the browser ui are not near as comfortable - possibly other things too. But if Sailfish sorts them out it will be one hell of a user experience in big devices.

How exactly pulley menu is easy to reach with the large screen or you handle the phone from top?
Sailfish is far away from one hand UX, but I think most OSes are.

I did not say anything about the "smartness" of the phone. As for the users, I agree that the screen size and their intelligence are orthogonal. But think of it this way. You are a phone manufacturer. To catch smart users, you would need to do a lot of research and think very hard. Or you can slap "liquid metal" and a large screen on it and catch the latest fad seekers. Which one would you do?

It is impossible that a unique smartphone model can satisfy different user tastes, so the key is to have different models, diversity with Sailfish OS : Jolla smartphone, Intel smartphone, Turing smartphone, FairPhone 2 smartphone, etc.
