We do not have a concept on portioning nor cuisine though. Besides, you missed out on the deep-fried stuff (wings, funnel cake, oreos) that we also covet.

The negatives in that sentence would be that Americans do not have the concept of portioning as well as no concept on cuisine.

American cuisine is a real thing, but stereotypically, it's relegated to hamburgers, pizza, french fries and other fattening foods.

So why not point out the worst of the bunch? Deep fried county fair foods?

That was my second guess. My first guess was that you have no idea how to portion "nor cuisine", whatever that is. Looking up, it looks like at least some of us have tried it.
