Hello,

Just downloaded Canola and think it is the greatest Media player I have found so far. What would make it even better would be if you could view your media library by folders?

I have lots of music, all arranged in Folders (Artist Name) the sub folders (Album Name)

Is it possible?

Me too, It is the just one thing that I don't like of Canola.

It would be posible to do a plugin for this? It would be awesome!!

MediaBox works folder based. My music is arranged the same way, and MediaBox handles it well.

MediaBox doesn't seem to do folders for photos, however. I also would like
to see folders on Canola if possible

If Canola could just have a standard menu with Open File through a standard dialog window, that would be a nice step forward. It would be nice if it also had a standard menu with, like, Quit, like every other maemo (and Windows and Mac and, I suppose, Linux) program.

Hei guys, beta6 has already folder browsing for Music and Videos. We actually do have for photos, but with no thumbnails, it looked quite dumb (to browse by file name) like canola1, so we are designing the best way to do the "browse" by folder also in a visual way!

Marcello, thanks for the Beta6. Great improvements. While I am not that big a user for Folder view, it does come in handy - to see my music files which do no have any tags, and hence dont show up on artist or Genre view.

Thanks again for a great app.
