It isn't vaporware after all!
Another new project for Jolla is with Turing Robotics Industries, with whom Jolla has made
a Sailfish OS licensing agreement and is developing the software for the upcoming Turing
smartphone.
Dr. Saarnio continues: “Sailfish OS is already running fast on the Turing phone, and we
are now working together to get all the needed software in place. We at Jolla believe that it
is possible to produce niche target group smart devices in Finland, as Turing is now
planning to do. Our aim is to support them in the best way we can.”

I hadn't realised but they're still saying that phones will ship to customers at end of May, or failing that June.
This has to be a straight up scam.
Does anyone live near enough to the old Nokia factory where they claim to be producing these to see if there are even any lights on?
Also their phone site is STILL down ... think it has been for weeks. Main site is still just a splash. Oh, and to top it off, last update on either Twitter account was August '15.

Regular afternoon at Microsoft campus in Salo is quiet. Almost ten hectares of parking space contain only handful of cars after Microsoft spun down the operations there.

Mayor has lately ended up commenting the manufacturing as company representatives have been unavailable for comment. Rantakokko has connection to Chao, who he describes as "active communicator" towards the city officials.
