Other than PDair being an awesome name, are any of their skins, and 4 different types of cases good for the n800? These cases are irresistible at that sorta price. Especially that crocodile case.

Here are the links:
Sleeve case (desirable): http://www.pdair.com/catalog/product...oducts_id=5613
Crocodile case (edible):
http://www.pdair.com/catalog/product...oducts_id=7326
Book case (readable):
http://www.pdair.com/catalog/product...oducts_id=5475
And finally the pouch case (pouchable..?):
http://www.pdair.com/catalog/product...oducts_id=5609

O and the Flexiskin too (flexible):

Any input would be extremely helpful, I don't like being a unconfident buyer. Even though I already am.

Thx!

P.S. I am really excited about the free shipping!

I use one similar to the book style and am very happy with it. I like being able to cover the display, it feels more secure in my hand and I think it offers some protection against dropping it.
And the price isn't too bad.

I did buy from Pdair some 6 weeks ago the book case as some others from ITT did through Ebay . Good price( 19 € mail included) , paypal, fast delivery.

It's a bit thick, obviously hand made (??), good quality, it will problably save your nokia if you drop it, even on stone.

It is still available on Ebay (Siemshop) for 10 UK Pounds.

Watch it: there are three types on Siemshop : pouch, book and sleeve. In the book case you can't use the Nokia N800 standard, however, the leather case stands as well (more or less).

I bought the book case, in hindsight I would have bought the sleeve.

Abel.

- i find the site to be quite 'resistable' for a number of reasons:

1. no brick-and-mortar contact info
2. supports PayPal (which is evil)
3. overpriced leather cases, non-functional molded 'skins'
4. misspellings throughout legalese
5. shill posts

JMHO...

I have the book case for N800, ordered directly from PDAir. I felt the price point to be in line with what other specialist/non-ebay retailers were offering for their cases.

I had absolutely no problems--the item arrived quickly and the product delivered was as advertised. It's appears to be well made--after more than 6 months of use, it is still holding up nicely.

To echo AbelMN's post--I do wonder if I should have gone with the sleeve, as it is more compact. The upside to the book type is that it protects the screen when not in use, while the sleeve leaves the screen exposed (I believe). Another downside of the book-type not already mentioned is that the cover just hangs there when you are using it, it does get fatiguing after awhile if you are holding the n800 in your palm...

Ya, I'm sorta torn between the sleeve and book case too. I also found out that the book case has 2 memory card holders.

What purpose would the sleeve serve? If you put your N800 in, say, a suitcase, you would still want it in another case to protect the screen, no? When you're using your N800, what advantage is there to having it wrappped in the sleeve, or in any case?

I have this case, though I purchased it on eBay rather than directly from PDair. I avoid eBay as much as possible, but the savings were too great to resist in this instance.

I used the case for several months and found it to be well made. The magnetic clasp worked well--far better than I expected--and I liked that the belt clip was attached directly to the case. I don't care for the swivel buttons commonly found of cell phone cases. After several months of daily use, the case material around the rivet that held the belt clip to the case was beginning to loosen, but not to a dangerous degree.

In the end, I switched to carrying my N800 in my shirt pocket though. I didn't like the idea of a horizontal-style belt case when I bought the PDair pouch, but at the time of purchase, it was the best belt case available. However, time with the case proved right my prediction that it would catch on furniture and equipment too often at work.

At the same time I purchased the PDair pouch case from eBay, I also purchased a Flexskin-type silicone case. It made my N800 too thick to fit inside the PDair pouch case, but during the time I used the pouch case at work, I used the flexible skin at home. However, I no longer use the flexible skin case either. In my opinion, the N800 is already a bit on the large side, and the flexible skin made it morbidly obese.

I bought the book case for my N800. It's almost perfect, with one (very little) criticism: The "hinge" should have covered the power button as well IMHO.

Other than that, pure joy.
