I'm not sure if I understand things correctly, but isn't open sourced code allows anyone to review and evaluate it? What parts of the code should be open for people to feel satisfied and secure? That's a genuine question.

It's certainly interesting that as soon as 'Russia' pops up, all discussion immediately boils down to 'Putin', 'backdoors', 'state controlled everything', 'KGB', and so on. I'm surprised no one has shooped Putin riding a sailfish yet.

After reading this article one could think that Jolla does not develop SFOS anymore, is only registered in Hong Kong and this new operating system is Russian made.
