Using Oneplus X. Doing fine so far, but no more console commands.

Yeah that's true, normally I'd use it right away with my N9, but having this as my only device and having sketchy multirom, I'd rather wait first until multirom becomes stable.

The One+ seems like nice hardware, I am unimpressed by CyanogenMod despite it being light years ahead of GoogleAndroid, so I am waiting for mainline linux kernel for Android which makes x11 and the full Ubuntu/Ubuntu Touch software catalog possible.
Until then I hope my N900 will last, even though old it is still mostly more useful and with far better apps than my Android tablet.

I still own a N900 but I rarely use it (one dead kb key). Only when I need a specific app which hasn't been ported to Sailfish yet, eg. pyOBD. I switched to Jolla Phone and sticking with it so long as it lasts because of TOHs (tohkbd2,letoh,solartoh,toholed,tohuart) .

I went from N97 to N900 to Xperia Play to N9 to Droid 4 to Blackberry z3, back to N900 then to Droid 4 then back to N900.

N900 with a 2016 2650mAh battery is awesome. Would recommend.

The browser experience killed the n900 for me as a daily device. Use a Meizu Mx4 with UT but concede that the n900 is an overall more useful device. Browsing aside.

I've felt that disabling javascript makes things a lot better (if the site doesnt depend on it to work). Else I've gotten into the habit of making scripts to check the things I would use the browser for

Rooted Galaxy S7.

I almost finished porting all my scripts and code from the N900 and i have to admit this device is awesome.

at this point i can say that there are very few things i had to give up by moving - like programming mono apps (which can be done using xamarin), using aircrack (which actually became irrelevant since passwords for networks these days are much harder to crack by brute force), and the hardware keyboard.

Multitasking is also much better than i thought.

i'm running background startup bash scripts like i did in the N900 - like back SSH to remote control the phone without using google's "help".

All the things i used to do using Queen Beecon are now done using Tasker which is MUCH more powerful and supports javascript, python, bash and very advanced UI control.

i also started coding java with the android studio - i need to port a few things from the N900 like my location scanner in car mode which launches commands on locations proximity.

Other than that, the advantages of having such a device are countless:
4GB 8 core with 2K screen resolution are just few, not to mention the applications availability for practically everything...
