A few days won't be enough. I believe the Jolla C exists to test drive the Intex device and to have the community iron out bugs.

Even if OT, I'm curious: Does anyone know about mobile devices production?
For the sake of argument let's assume Jolla releases the final Aqua Fish firmware today.
At least for the Jolla C we have seen factory pics, so how probable is it, that the Aqua Fish phones (hardware) are already assembled?
How long would it take to flash them, pack them up and deliver them to the distributors?
If the hardware still has to be assembled I guess estimates are difficult, but still: Would that add extra days, weeks, month?

Thank you!

Just got an email in which there is new info about Jolla C shipment.

Jolla C shipping update

We are very well on track with the shipping of all the Jolla C smartphones. The actual devices are in Hong Kong waiting to be dispatched. We are currently going through some final database checks, and agreeing on items with our logistics provider, and then the Jolla C's are on their way to you.

Note these when receiving your Jolla C

The product shipped with the purchase of Sailfish Community Device Program, the Jolla C, is a developer-focused device that comes with a protective plastic cover on the screen and a short Micro USB cable for the developers to hook their device up to the computer.

Important note: The protective cover over the display is meant to be kept on to protect the display, so please do not take it off when you receive the device.
This last part with the protective cover left me puzzled.

It is normal screen protector. At least I have that on my Jolla C, it protects phone from scratches!

It would make sense if they wrote it is a screen protector.
I prefer my phones without protectors, but in this case I will keep it on.
