Good afternoon,

I've tried to download some Github projects to my phone in order to compile them by myself. However, whenever I try

Code:
# apt-get install git
I face the following error:

Code:
Depends: perl-modules & liberror-perl
E: Broken packages
I have perl-base installed, but it doesn't seem to be useful in this situation. Any help will be appreciated, thank you.

FWIW, I installed Git just yesterday on my N900, with no errors at all. So yes, update your repo lists.

I have no idea about what's wrong with this. I have just reflashed my phone and added some repos. The list looks like follows:

-http://repository.amemo.org/extras-testing

Am I missing any repo? Where could I get a decent list of good repos?

Also, that's the response I get from
Code:
apt-get install git
:

Code:
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading some information... Done
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you
have requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet created
or moved out of Incoming.
The following packages may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
git: Depends: perl-modules but it is not installable
Depends: liberror-perl but is not going to be installed.

E: Broken packages
What?! I can't install any of the packages mentioned in the error because perl is installed in a way Git doesn't like (but the flash binary came like this!!)

you have typos (amemo), and also should specify distribution and components

Code:
deb http://repository.maemo.org/community/ fremantle free non-free
deb http://repository.maemo.org/community-testing/ fremantle free non-free
deb http://repository.maemo.org/extras/ fremantle-1.3 free non-free
deb http://maemo-repos.com/apt-mirror/mirror/downloads.maemo.nokia.com/fremantle/ssu/apps/ ./
deb http://maemo-repos.com/apt-mirror/mirror/downloads.maemo.nokia.com/fremantle/ssu/mr0 ./

Worked like a charm! Thank you very much BTW, I have seen that the Ovi Store repo is no longer up. Do you know any backup repo where I could download apps like, for example, Angry Birds?

I have also realised that there are two ways of adding repos: from the app manager or by editing /etc/apt/sources.list. Which one is 'better' and how can I delete default repos (which are down) like Ovi? It's a non-permitted operation from the App Manager...
