Ohh, I see a version integrating cyclestreets nav has been committed. When are we likely to see it in the repos?

Hi,
is it possible instead having the maps on the N900 flash to have them on a sd card (/home/user/MyDocs/.maps/OpenStreetMap I/ and (/home/user/MyDocs/.local/share/marble/maps/)?
Like doing a Symlink for the maps folder?
The SD card has to be ext3 then right?
I'm asking because I do not want to break anything.

PS:
Btw Marble / Monav / N900 crashed during a routing map download.
After a reboot the home folder was read only.
Another reboot did not fix that.

I fixed that with:
fsck -aw /dev/mmcblk0p1

Just in case someone else has the same problem.

Yes, of course this is possible. No problem at all.

In case you do not have/want/need a SD card:
You may also create an ext (or also vfat with smaller cluster of 512b/1kb) on MyDocs, mount that as a loop device and have the symlinks point to that.

Just have a look at power search with above key words and you will find more examples.

Marble 1.8 has been out for a while now, seemingly with with the CycleStreets integration I asked for. Any chance of it getting packaged for the N900?

I noticed that Marble's routing instructions are not audible when the phone's 'silent' profile is selected.

I think that 'on-demand' sound should be played in that profile.
It would be great if this could be fixed.

Btw, is Marble for the N900 still being actively worked one?
