Just seen a bug sumitted for aGPS not woking when background connections are off! So i guess this is the issue!

That's because an aGPS positioning determination made from SUPL server connections is by definition, a background connection.
If you have disabled background connections or have them automatically disabled by entering power saver mode, then you should have no expectation of making any aGPS connection.

Just wanted to ask other N9 users how quick the GPS is. Mine seems very slow to lock on and don't think its using aGPS!
If inside for example i would have assumed the triangulation of the signal would be relatively quick?
even when right next to a window "around me" gives up, maps doesnt get anything! and even the "GPSMeefo" Satellite info app gets nothing!
is it just buggy in PR1.0? is it any better in PR1.1?
