Can anyone tell me how I can do simple spreadsheet stuff on the 810? Apparently gnumeric does it but I can't get my head round how to install it. Ideally I'd like to import excel files and edit them, but I would be happy with a basic spreadsheet application.

Gnumeric installs very easily- through the Application Manager. Just make sure you have the Testing Maemo Extras repo.

Doesn't Google spreadsheets work on the n810? or are you looking for an off line app?

well if you were to use an online app you have the Google spreadsheets and also open office online.

or better yet you could remote into one of you computers

im hopeing and praying that we will get open office lite or something since it runs on java and the IT can absolutely do java

Some people must not have to manage the monster spreadsheets I'm stuck with-- they're torture on my laptop's 14" screen, much less the N810's!

Hello everyone, I am a newbie to this forum and I have an N810. I tried to install the gnumeric.install that I got here but it was unsuccessful. I am getting an incompatible application package error.
I have updated my N810 to OS2008 vr 2.2007.51-3 which is the latest as of today prior to this error. I'm wondering if this version only works with os2007. Or maybe I'm having another issue altogether.
