Whenever I am in Drive and search online for a destination somewhere in Australia, the search results show incorrect spelling for Australia as "Australija" (with a 'J' in it). It works okay but the spelling is really annoying.Any other pedants out there have similar issues or know how to correct this?

Language is set to English UK.

Maybe it means English with Ukrainian accent?

Going by Wikipedia, it's either the Lithuanian or Serbian/Croatian/Bosnian/Montenegrin spelling. Maybe some obscure configuration file believes you're from Eastern Europe.

I tried some countries - and they come in some South Slavic language indeed.

With limited testing it seems that the names come from online search; I remember, that not so long ago some Serbian telecom was still offering N9 with contract. Maybe due to some agreement there are last standing Drive servers dedicated to users in this area? Would be interesting to see if traffic map works there...

I'm Serbian and I haven't heard of this. The local operators stopped selling the N9 in, like, 2013.

I've seen something similar with my N9 for the spelling of United Kingdom. It no longer charges so I can't get the spelling anymore but I never figured out what caused it. I assumed it was Finnish.

It was still available through Telenor Serbia about half a year ago, but they've stopped selling it some time since: https://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=96828
