Title says everything is it possible that someone could port a ts client?

I don't think it will be possible, as TS is not OSS, though there is a Linux client (and server). I'm pretty sure it's Java-based (we use it here), so that's another strike.

It's doubtful that teamspeak willl be ported by the official team, and it's not OSS so it's not possible for third parties to do it. The client available for Linux is compiled against winelib so the chances are not very high.
