Alright.

Hello.

My name is Jake, and I've been trying for a while to figure out a way (besides VMWare or Linux) of using the Nokia Flasher to enable USB host mode through Windows XP Pro on my N770 tablet, running OS2007HE (latest edition, fresh flash).

Any suggestions?

BTW, my computer sucks too much and is having major problems with VMWare and I need Windows because... I'm pathetic.

- Throw the flasher and image onto a FAT16 formatted usb disk/pendrive

- Use a Live CD such as knoppix, or ubuntu

- plug tablet to unit, start up R&D mode, run flasher, wait 15-30minutes

- should be done, reboot tablet, eject your cd, reboot linux to get back into windows

- problem solved.

I went the vmware route.. never worked. Might as well give in and use an actual linux session.
