@karlos devel

try running some background processes and cores 5 and 6 should start scaling up. Those are (supposedly) the higher performance 1.8GHz cores on the Xperia X. This is is for the EA 2.1.4.12 release.

I guess that's why you noticed heavier battery drain.

That could be a possibility, however I think mine is more likely related to the overall stutter of my install. I think something is mismatched somewhere and causing a handful of glitches. Theoretically, the two "new" activated cores should actually reduce battery consumption, so long as the governor is working as it should.

As far as I know, it wasn't enabled on 2.1.3.x, and that was a big contention with the release being labeled "incomplete".

On 2.1.3.7 all cores are working, just tested it, but Sailfish doesn't know the difference between the big and little cores and so it often uses only little cores instead of the big ones.

Aren't cores 5 and 6 (A72) used as GPU's? (or intended to)

Nope, cpu 4 and 5 are more powerful than 0-3. But 0-3 need less power. So core 4 and 5 are normally only used on heavy load.
