Same here, with one exception: I skipped the steps that involved moving away from the N900.

N900 (dead usb) > N900 (dead screen) > N900 > Jolla + TOHKBD

I had to leave my N900 because the 3G antennas in my city were replaced by 4G antennas. But I'm not very happy with the jolla.
Probably like a lot of people here, I'm waiting for the neo900, but....
I think VERY seriously about trying to make a phone with keyboard with the PyTalk module or buying a Gemini PDA.

Droid 4 on cm 11 (Lineage 14 got me wifi and other issues).. with Linux Deploy Only..
and
S7 again with LINUX DEPLOY on KDE along with other apps

PS.. i would love to have POSTMARKETOS on my Droid 4

Yup....
DIY like pytalk is very quickly becoming a viable alternative to the standard smartphone...
Give it 5 years and I bet that pytalk and its ilk will be giving standard phones a run for their money...

Still have never used and Android or Apple device in my life.

Nearly the same here :-)

N900 -> Jolla 1 -> Intex AquaFish -> Fairphone 2 (with Sailfish) -> Sailfish X (Xperia X Dual SIM)

And I also have never used Android or iOS...

n900 -> n9 -> Z10 (6 month) -> Jolla 1 -> New Jolla 1 -> OnePlusx with sailfishos (and very happy with it)
