Just FYI
As thoughtful as the gesture is...
there are a only a few rare items which are considered "awkward" and avoided territory.
Garnet vm happen to be one of them.
It is not suggested a wise thing to openly distribute the garnet vm files
There are many threads and posts here explaining why.
It may result in legal action taken against maemo.org and potentially action taken against you.
It is your choice as to what occurs in the short / long term if / when the current proprietary owners of Garnet take notice of your linked files.

it is either 5 posts or 10 posts in the forum...(excepting the off topic forum which doesn't count to the needed tally...)..
(it is an anti spam feature built in ..)....

anyway, it looks like the deb I have has nothing to do with the one that OP asked, its interesting anyway I would like to try the garnet again, I pretty sure I installed it but I lost a lot of installation files due to SD corruption

This is probably a long shot but does anyone have the garnet-vm_1.0.6b_ITOS2008_armel.deb? I recently found a N800 cheap on eBay and came across this forum when setting up my N800. Thanks
