So why Eelo over the LineagOS microG fork it is based on?
I already use Lineage w/microG on a tablet to get those things like transit card NFC refill, and web browsing that I can't do in Maemo5/N900.
Seriously I just would like a good GNU userland, x, and pulseaudio or even ALSA vs the kludge Google made with android. Effing closed blob drivers.

The copyright thing seems pretty convincing though. That combined with the zealous moderation/censorship on communication channels really is not encouraging.

I do not see any zealous moderation/censorship for example here: https://community.e.foundation/t/e-c...eage-fans/1359

But I'm not an advocate of /e/, just mediate information

I've got an old Wileyfox Swift, currently running uG LineageOS. It might be worth trying this out....
