I'm always using Nokia N900 to share Internet through USB cable, and its USB port contact is not stable. I'm trying to share UMTS WAN through Wifi (Ad-hoc).

I've installed OLSRd 0.4 from Maemo 2.2 to this Maemo 5, and will test to connect from a computer with OLSRd 0.6 in Debian 10.

In my experience with bluetooth tethering to Android/LineageOS I take my N900 online first and force 3.5g data by checking mail on the N900 (or any data use), after that I usually have no problem with the tethered connection. For some reason my laptop(Ubuntu) most of the time just forces the connection without needing to use the 'check mail' trick.
