What replacement USB port do I need to replace the worn out one on my N900?

It is a painfull job even for someone with good soldering skills. I will try to solder the wires from a usb cable directly to the board contacts. I believe it will be way easier and it will last more time

It is(or was) a pretty standard surface mount USB port I have seen that there are two general designs one with the narrow part of the port on the solder pad and the other with the wide part near the pads. I was always able to easily compar the product pictures to my N900's port when ordering.

My best success was to 'tin' up the pads and legs on the port well and then use a heat gun after kapton tape masking everything else on the board especially the camera; solder/flux past is what is supposed to be used with hot air though. I have had to use a soldering iron but that is much harder to do.

I ended up just grabbing one of my other N900's and BackupMenu-ing it instead.
