I might get a Nokia 770 soon. gtrxAC already built Python 3.11 for N810, I built it for N9 fixing most of modules depends (and I will do it too on N810). I want to try to build Python on Nokia 770 too.

bz2, ctypes, curses, gzip, lzma, readline, zlib

It was just matter of missing dependencies

In 2018 I compiled python 3.4 for N800. I did not build a more recent version, since the same python 3.4 worked slowly on the n900.
How does your side work?

Well, I didn't much effort into N8x0 (I have N810) yet, I mainly focused on N9. On N9 it's slower than the Nokia's 3.1 & 2.7 of course, but not really bad I think. I even got pip to work through proxy (I wrote a pip-proxy wrapper), although now I got a better thing - I compiled OpenSSL v1.1.0h for N9 and I'm just trying to build Python 3.11.3 with it, to add SSL support - worked with wget and I could download a file from TLS 1.2 / 1.3 website!

Update aegis-sertman to make ssl work. On the n800(n810), I updated the opensll and installed new certificates and it seems to work. Aegis-certman is a package with certificates for n9
