Or I think you can just get your own account here:
Get a Google Account
I think that this will allow you to set up a gmail account without the need for invites. I have not tested this though.

Since we are one of the few communities testing this for Nokia & Google I thought it might be a good idea if we setup an invites thread for users that can't test this functionality because they don't have a gmail account.
If someone could please PM me an invite that would be great. I'll post once I receive it so that I don't keep receiving invites.
Others could also post invite requests to this thread. (once I have my own invites I'll be happy to return the favor to someone)
