Like maybe we own collectors' items? I sure hope not, since I like the Tablets so darn much. But at least what we own is very useful now and ought to be for a couple more years (at least for my purposes, which are numerous), as long as microb and skype-for-maemo aren't left too far behind.

I can't go into details over my situation other than to say:

-I highly doubt there is even a remote connection with the 4 maemo guys;

-it is not a Nokia thing per se, but a problem originating at a very low level (in a sense). That's all I can say in a public forum... other than I do still appreciate being a Nokia employee and the oportunities that presents. Nokia, IMO, is one of the best.

Hmm 4 employees all working on Maemo project leave, as well as internal employee told to stop blogging internally about Maemo project and whatever else he advocated on his blog, this really doesn't sound like the workings behind a successful product.

Please let's stop the rumor mongering for a few minutes.

I can't speak for Nokia officially as I am not a "spokesperson". But as someone who works as part of the Internet Tablet team (I am part of the Product Management team), please let me assure that:

1) I still have a job and have no concerns about it, and thus I can safely say that --
2) Linux platforms products are not being killed or discontinued in any sense, so please don't read too much into unrelated events

If Texrat wants to clarify what he meant by his comments, he can do that of his own volition. But as part of the direct team that manages these tablet products, I can safely tell you that there's nothing going on to substantiate these rumors.
