I got my N800 a couple of weeks ago... everything had been going pretty good but suddenly i can't connect ot any websites ... skype logs into my account but doesn't work , i can access my computer remotely via orb... but last.fm's app won't work ... anyone have any ideas ... i even reflashed my n800 , I am running OS2008 ... i need help

Check if you are on the right wireless network (not a neighbors), and also check if you have it set up to go through a proxy... connectivity settings, connections, edit...

If you can, disable the proxy and see if that helps.

The tinfoil hat is supposed to go on your head, not over the tablet!

It's possible someone nextdoor installed an AP that's too close a channel and is decreasing your SNR, making a connection difficult/impossible to put data through. Try standing (figuratively) on top of your AP, and see if it improves?

Also, try going somewhere else with a free WiFi hotspot and try it. Or even a non-free one; if the sign-up-to-pay-big-money-and-access-our-net page loads, it means the tablet's fine, troubleshoot your AP. If it can't load, then a proxy or similar config issue seems likely.

k thanks people it is a problem with my router cause i had it at a friends and it worked ... so now i have to figure out how to fix the ap

Great to hear that timeless, that was good detective work in testing the tablet with a different router.
