Hi there.

As proposed in another thread (http://www.internettablettalk.com/fo...ead.php?t=5844) , here is a rapier specific thread in the Apps forum.

Neat thread, thanks for starting this.

Feature Requests:
- different book/chapter/verse chooser (something like Palm Bible+ but adjusted for screen size)
- search to be a popup screen instead of a sidebar
- ability to tag/bookmark verses (or sets of verses and chapters)

Really way out but neat idea: ability to export a bookmark/tag to the Notes application. Within the Notes application it would be hyperlinked to open Rapier right at the verse linked.

I also appreciate the effort on this. I do not know how to program but I would be more than happy to help with any beta testing.

I use Rapier daily even in Sunday School & Church, the Sunday School Teacher even asks me to look up the Strong's definitions on a regular basis.

Again if there is anything other than programing I can help with let me know.

I use it (Rapier) quite a bit, too. Although, since our church has wireless access to the Internet, I also tend to browse to www.biblegateway.com, depending on what's going on.

I definitely am glad to see work being done to improve Rapier.

Pamadio, thanks for Rapier. I use it quite a bit, especially when I travel. It's nice to have (several) bible(s) with me without taking up space in my suitcase.

One addition I'd like to see is programmable navigation keys ala FBReader. I really like the fact that I can hold the tablet in one hand and read pages of a book with FBReader. I'd really like to be able to read the Bible the same way - i.e. a full page view with a page down key to make it easy to read several chapters at a time.

Rapier is great -- I just haven't gotten enough nerve to bring it to sunday school/church yet, since people might think I was trying to 'show off'

Anyways, has anyone pondered the possibility of adding some public domain maps to the package? A very good compilation from very sources is mentioned here:

http://www.swordsearchermodules.net/images_frame.html

The alternative, so far, is just to download the maps as 'picture' files without any connection to the Rapier application itself -- but perhaps a more 'integrated' approach could be beneficial.

I had those thoughts, too, when I started bringiing my (then) iPAQ. I suppose, back when printed Bibles were still rare, people who had them felt the same way...there are still times when I prefer using a "real" Bible...

I think that would be cool!

I have just recently uninstalled my sword bible because I needed to reformat my internal memory card (I had the reported size error). What I disocverd was quite supprising. I had the actual text of the two bibles I downloaded SIX folders deep. I don't have it now but it ws somthing like six folders that repeated inside each other. Did I somehow mess up the original installtion or is it supposed to be like that? (or perhaps it was corrupted by my memory size problem?)

Anyway, I need to reinstall so what is the best location today for instructions to install?
Anyone seen a folder 'map' that shows what I will see after a proper installation?
Thanks.
