Nonpareil is a calculator simulator that has a variety of HP models - looks like a highly versatile app. I'm particularly interested in using the HP 12C configuration. The website states that the Zaurus port has been reported to work on the N810.

What would be necessary to get this up and running?

It's probably simpler to just use the standard version instead of the one ported to Zaurus. I haven't tried that yet, but it compiled without problems on my linux desktop. From what I can see the current problem would be that it depends on netpbm, which may not be currently available out of the box for OS2007/OS2008 (there are other dependencies too but I think those are covered)

The good news is that, according to this page, netpbm is available in Diablo.

The bad news is that, according to Nonpareil:

Voyager calculator models have been removed in release 0.79 due to licensing issues. They will be made available in a separate package in the near future.
This includes the 12C.
