I live on the right coast of North America (GMT -5) and every morning @ about 6 AM I log on to ITT to see what our friends across the pond may have added. I hit the "New Posts" link and find 2 maybe three pages to peruse.

The same routine is repeated @ 4 or 5 PM after my work day, again maybe 3 pages of new posts. However, lately when I hit that link I'm greeted with 9, 10, or sometimes more pages of new posts.

I was doubtful at first and went to the quick link called "Today's Posts" to see if maybe it was somehow cache related... but sure enough, 12 pages of posts in separate threads in the past 24 hours.

Have our tablets finally gotten the attention of the masses? Is this the shape of things to come?

The speed of new posting has definitely increased, perhaps Reggie could chime in with some statistics, page views, new members signing up etc..

If we've fallen past the tipping point, are moderators close behind?

So... you thinking we should go with light water or graphite?
Or maybe heavy water, and skip enrichment?

Noticed this yesterday and in my case it is always 20 pages (max?). Find it hard to believe that the amount of interest has increased that much from one day to the next. I suspect a forum problem.

Update: solved by using Quick Links/ Mark Forums Read

I found at page 6 of 20 the message

The threads below have not been updated since your last visit but still contain unread posts

So only six pages of new posts since my last visit

Yeah, it seems there have been some updates to the forum software, which now shows every thread you didn't mark as read before

It's deja vu all over again!

Still, I am seeing at least a 25% increase in thread traffic...
4 pages today between 6AM and 6PM.

...and yes, I hit the "Mark Forums Read" quick link before logging out this morning.

Of course it could also mean that the older format wasn't capturing as much.
