I stopped carring my n800 when I got an iphone, but the recent delay of supported apps, combined with my works new firewall locks, has pointed me back to my n800. So while its charging I thought I would ask a few quick questions.

1. Does the old method for dual booting still work? Is there a new version out to handle os2008?

2. Any new killer apps I should make sure to try?

3. Is penquin still porting full linux desktops over?

4. Any info I would have missed that you think I should really know?

1. Yes. I don't know if there is a *new* version but you can dual boot with OS2008.
2. Canola.
3. People are running KDE.
4. I dunno. But you can always use the Google search of this forum on its home page for your specific interests.

I would add that the RTCOMM beta lets you do native IM without Jabber server, Modest works better for email than the built in client but is still a little buggy and the gaming scene is much improved with the emulators for GBA and a lot of ports done by some great people.
