Selling two N800s on Ebay right now. Auction ends in 12 hours. They are slightly used, but both like new condition. Both with 2008 OS. More details after the clicky!

N800 w/ 2GB SD card

N800 (minus the ear buds and original box - started at a lower price)

I LOVE the N800, but I'm trying to pool up enough money for a Sony UX380N. No hard feelings

Feel free to ask me questions via this forum and I'll check back before the auction ends.

can we assume that you'll be sending some of your profit to the folks that keep this forum & community running?

...or did you just join us long enough to hawk your ebay wares?

I've been a reader of this forum for a long time, and it helped me decide to buy them in the first place. Now, because I decided to sell the N800s, I thought there would be other guests looking to buy and join the owner community. I apologize if I've offended anyone.

oh, my apologies, then. I guess I thought that your low post rate (then 1, now 2) and join date of April 2008 (the current month and year) indicated you'd just joined our community, and the only thing you had to offer was your link to your ebay auctions.

kinda still looks that way, even to the casual observer...

I consider your post a thoughtful act, and so I want to say thanks for letting the members of this community know.

Everyone has different needs, which is why the Nokia Internet Tablets aren't perfect for everyone.

Me, however, they're perfect for. :-)

Your mismatch is my opportunity. (Or somebody else's.) Why would that be upsetting? Good luck!

Roger

Added later:

It really is my opportunity. One of the two N800s that lexsan82 sold went for $158, which is right in my target price range and of which I was the lucky bidder. (The second has already passed my limit.)

Just about any other UMPC is better choise than the Sony. You clearly have not done your homework.

Actually, performance wise the Sony has yet to be beaten.

The A110 on the HTC Shift, the Samsung Q1, and the Fujitsu is infinitely slower.

The processor on the OQO Model 02 may have a higher "Ghz" number but it's also a lot slower then the UX.

Combine that with one of the SSDs on the UX390 or 490 models and you have a lightening fast UMPC with easily notebook PC capability.
