Cool. An iPhone thread. About time we had one of these!

Well, all the features except holding it right way up:

Very nice device. If GPS and motion sensor specs aren't cheap, with a possible Linux install and there is a full SDHC slot, this is a N900

I'll have to agree with that . It is great that you can have a stylus, but it is nice to have a thumb interface as well.

Ohsweet, haptic feedback <3. Not a fan of touch phones (although it seems like a lot of phones are going that way), but I do love feedback when I use one.

For me, each has its place.

I'd hate to do precision work with my finger. Like using a drawing app, or things like that.

On the other hand, having to pull out a stylus for basic navigation is ... stupid.

The UI and device should be able to address both. The overall UI should be finger friendly, but the device should be usable with a stylus. I'm agnostic about whether it should have a stylus slot and actually ship with a stylus though.

What it should NOT have is one of those little rinky-dink telescoping styluses that you see on some phones and PDA-watches. Either give me an N810 type stylus, or none at all (and let me buy one of those pens that can you can switch between ink and stylus tips).

i see it like this, if designed for finger, it will also work for stylus or mouse. if designed for stylus you can also use a mouse. if designed for mouse it will only work with a mouse.

I don't want a sketchpad that was designed for a finger!
