I know this is just some random flash game, but it's really fun and works so well on the Tablets that you'd think it was MADE for them!

The best part is that this game is contained in a single .swf file so you can download it for offline play!

Think Spiderman simulator meets caveman drawings...

It's addictive!

When you click on the link, once the game appears, click on file/save as/ html and save it on your N8x0, open up file manager and navigate to the saved game, once it opens, click on the file and add to bookmarks... it takes a few seconds to load but it eventually does.

I've been running it on an N800, but it's flashed with what I thought to be the same ITOS2008 that should be on the N810, so it should work.

Do you have much free RAM? I'm using my 2nd SD Card slot to expand my swap by an additional 128MB, though I'm pretty sure it's not neccesary for this game.

Maybe try downloading the swf file to your device with a "save link as" before you try to run it so your network connection won't act as a bottleneck.

ya know...I am not video game kinda guy but that is sorta cool. Maybe because old farts like me can understand it right off the bat.

I am STILL struggling to figure out how to control Doom on my N800. That is the only computer video game I ever owned when it first came out...never bought another one since.

Though I have wasted what seems like a lifetime playing the Marbles (not marble drop) game over on http://www.netives.com/Games/Marbles/index.shtml Don't bother to visit with your tablet because it's a Java based game...still it's a nice mindless way to expend heartbeats that you will never recover.

Is this an interface-confusion or coordination issue?

Assuming the former, it's fairly straightforward:

Dpad controls forward/back, sidestep and shooting.

Stylus is used on the soft-controls along the bottom (you can change your HUD with the +/- keys) the trackpad-like thing in the center to control turning and forward/back.

Escape gets you the menu, and Menu gets you out of fullscreen.

Of course, most of these can be rebound in the options menu.

If it's the later, well, practice makes perfect.

Can't you get that on the NiT? That is just the marbles game the you get with every linux ever made. In fact, I thought it was a core part of the Linux OS!

This one's brilliant!

Too bad it runs a little on the slow side on the IT's, but it's really addictive... even though I suck at it (haven't beaten the 50 yard mark, yet).

Also, about Doom, I keep it as proof of concept, to show off the N800's abilities, because I just can't play it well enough on the IT. I try putting the stylus right on the crosshair so I can aim a little better, but it's hard!

And I even have the original soundtrack by Trent Reznor to keep me going
