I had look at that, however seems like I still the problem with "add to playlist" feature since it works only by going through the library. It the library doesn't have browse by folder! All my music is arranged by folder. Browse by Artist, Album, Genre isn't helpful since it basically list all my song in one huge list. Most of my songs are by different Artist, Album, however they basically all in the same genre. I would really like to use add to playlist, but is very hard when you sort through a list of 1000+ songs... Which "add to playlist" would pop up same type of browse like "open" does. Looks like I am farther away from finding something that works well for me
I just got N800 and trying to figure how mediaplayer is the best, for my needs atleast. What I am mainly looking for is features found in Winamp 2.91 (this is version I still use in WinXP). Basically playlist creation/editing (on the go playlists), browse by folder (all my music is organized by folders already), skins, etc. I really liked PocketTunes back in Palms OS too. Too bad I can't seem to find something exactly like PocketTunes for the ITT
Canola2, UKMP, Mediabox, etc are out since they have bad playlist creation/editing support it seems. (Correct me if I am wrong here). Most of them only support playing already created ones.
The default media player is good, but the "add to playlist" seems to always grayed out! Any idea how to fix this, so I can actually add to play list. Not sure if it has support for skins. Otherwise, it works fine.
I saw thread about xmms, which probably would be perfect for me. However, looks like there quite a few bugs/problems with it. And you really need hack it to get xmms up and fully functionally. I haven't had time read all 23 pages of the xmms thread though. Any quick summary about its current state would be helpful!
Thanks!
