Heya seems I may have killed my nokia n800.

I was going to boot my IT from the mmc card using http://maemo.org/community/wiki/HowT...RootFSFromMMC/ (Alternative 2)

I downloaded initfs_flash pack an ran the script to find on reboot the device shows the menu trys to boot from the internal flash, loads the Nokia logo an plays the intro melody then reboots.

I have tried to reflash the device with a new copy of the firmware on both windows and linux an each time the OS's are not picking up the attached IT.

Any one got any ideas??

Thanks in advance for any help you may have

Not much help to you now, but perhaps to others - Guess you failed to notice near the top of the page you cite:

There's an updated and simplified version of this page at howto easily boot from mmc card

Did you enable the network recovery options? Have you tried to use them?

Does the option to boot from mmc appear? Did you clone the OS to the MMC, and have you tried booting from it? Do you know anyone else with the same device that could loan you a working MMC card for recovery?

Is the battery fully charged? IIRC low battery can cause such a reboot.
