Hey all. I need some help. My n800 boots successfully from 2gb mmc.... But... Application manager won't work. (works fine!! No errors when booting from flash)

I get operation failed, then will tell me unable to install, etc. EVEN Local .debs won't install. Log indicates in/out error somewhere in the neighborhood of var/lib/ ... Searched the forums. Tried some stuff: all repositories disabled... Red Pill... I'm out of ideas... almost.

Prior to cloning the flash to mmc, I installed KDE via the NON dual boot method... So that cloned as well... there's a swap file running on the other memory card... Could that be the culprit? Should I get rid of KDE (swap)?

I've noticed that it doesn't seem to stop reading the external card while idle, even though I'm booting from internal mmc.

Help!

I feel foolish to have created myself a larger memory card partition so I could install more software that I CANT install anymore software on...

Nate
