Hello, this is my first thread in the forum. I got a N800 recently, and now using the latest version of OS2008.

Tried many times but failed to download the two pcakges: KDE358.tar.bz2&kdesup-3.5.8.deb, any other link can get these package? I really want to test the KDE to let my n800 become a real computer..haha

BTW, are these two packages under MMC1&MMC2 are the same ones?

Thanks in advance,

I don't know if this is your issue, but use my first Newbie link (in my sig) to google Red Pill. Or look in Wikepedia for Red Pill Mode.

Dear Geraldko,

I think I didn't make it clear, I don't want to Clone the OS to MMC, I want to install KDE while not booting OS from MMC/SD. I follow the guide thread and try to donwload the two packages above mentioned but failed. Any one can creat a FTP or address that I can get the packages?

Even though I'm a new guy, I have searched in the forum for the issue, it seems that only one link available. can Penguinbait help me on this?

It's my first Newbie link I'm suggesting, not the cloning link. Have you tried downloading while in Red Pill Mode?
