When inputting text - how do I turn on the Capital Lock? At the moment I have been turning it on letter by letter but I assume there must be a capital lock feature that I just haven't found yet.

Please let me know. Thanks.

Press the shift button for more than a second or double-tap it.

How do you say "there's a newbie forum for these kind of questions" without sounding like a jerk?

. . . and starting a week long flamewar 30 pages long? You don't.

GeraldKo has probably come closest to accomplishing it, but he hasn't escaped singe-free either.

If someone can tell me what the bora equivalent of the chinook's hildon-input-method is, I'd look into replacing the "En" with a caps lock button.

Wow, I didn't know that either.

That's embarrassing. I usually use the full screen keyboard, except when I'm using the terminal (and don't tend to need caps lock).

Thank you to all that helped - I'm glad that it actually helped some people - as for the select few that have to point out that there is a Newbie section - all I can say is that I am aware of that and as I mentioned I did read and search but I could not find this information - maybe I just missed it but obviously it did also helps some others so it certainly was not a waste. Again, thanks for all the helpful people on this site - you are great and it is a great learning experience.
