I just purchased a Nokia N800 from amazon (hasn't even arrived yet, just perparing) I also have an Alltel Hue cellphone. The Hue is advertised as having GPS (however I haven't seen anything that uses it other than possibly for 911) Is there a way to get the Hue to talk to the N800 as a GPS receiver (even if I have to modify the phone, I know Alltel tends to lock things down)

According to the Samsung Hue User's Guide, the "Onboard GPS Supports Location Based Services And Turn-by-turn Directions".

Dial *611 on your Hue and choose 3, 3, for technical support. Ask them what the quote above means. Ask to be transferred to advanced technical support if they don't know.

Great! I hope you prove us, er, them wrong.

I have a Samsung Snap (1x, not EVDO), but have been eying getting a Hue or some smart phone. If you can get the GPS to work with your N800, I might go with the Hue.

Well, I Kinda got it. I can get the N800 to get cordinantes under the GPS option in control panel, but it won't seem to pass them to Meomo mapper... This surprises me because when i first started playing I figured that MMapper would just use these base cordinantes... oh well back to playing.
