Or rather that apt will not let you install anything else unless you solve an unrelated dependency.

I went and edited status file :/

I can't.

Code:
~# apt-get remove osso-software-version
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
You might want to run `apt-get -f install' to correct these:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
mephemeris: Depends: python2.5-gpsbt but it is not going to be installed
microb-eal: Depends: libgtkmozembed (>= 0.10.2) but it is not installable
tablet-browser-controls: Depends: libgtkmozembed (>= 0.10.1) but it is not installable
E: Unmet dependencies. Try 'apt-get -f install' with no packages (or specify a solution).

Hmm this doesn't work with the testing maemo google gears port. Any website you browse to with Google Gears support with the SVN won't recognize that you have it installed.

emjays rotate install script broke the web browser. The browser would start to load, display the empty browser window, then exit. Rerunning step 4 of the microb upgrade instructions (install microb-gtkmozembed and do the copy) fixed it.

Curious, has anyone tried running the latest SVN version of microB with Diablo at this point?
