I'm wondering how long is it going to be before they release it and what the hold up could be (waiting for availability of wimax or the tech isn't ready yet). Buy.com and Mobilecity are taking preorders. The release dates I've read have said it was originally back in april then that it was this summer, and mobilecity was saying July as the arrival date for preorders but now they are saying October.

Any predictions?

I want to get the n810 and I want to get it with wimax, but how long it takes before it is released, will affect whether I buy an n810 (or n800) now and then sell it off and get the wimax edition when it comes out or if I just wait for the wimax edition.


FYI, It's kind of a replacement for my iphone. The reasons I don't like my iphone 1) iTunes sucks (syncing is terrible especially if you have multiple devices and computers, I don't want to be locked to only being able to listen to my music on i-whatevers), 2) I have to hack my phone to install the software I want on it (which means having to deal with newer versions and new firmwares and syncing :P). 3) the internet browser is limited and it has come to the point where I only use it once in a while. There are things I like about my iphone that I will probably end up keeping it for quite some time, but I don't use it for listening to music any more and I don't internet browse with it any more.
