I would like to be able to use Maemo Recorder like a true memo recorder where I can make a note to myself - then pause the recording and later restart the recording to make another note and so on.

Does anyone know of a way of doing this with Maemo Recorder or is there another app that does?

I don't know. Perhaps post feature requests on https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=717.

There's also the problem of replaying parts of what has been recorded.
