Personally, I've not been encouraged by Access. I don't see a road map for future development, and I get the feeling that Access may have released its GVM for reasons that do not imply future development. Some good guesses have been already posted, especially by Johnx. I'll toss out a two of my own:

Perhaps Access already had GVM in the "bank" in terms of having developed it before realizing that its market potential is minimal. It would be nice to see Access open source the GVM; however, companies often fail to see the value in doing so.
I'm going to give POSE a whirl, and I hope POSE development moves forward. I'm not a developer, I only play one on TV. But I'm going to see if I can help out on the POSE effort.

I admit that I don't really care if Access does much more with the GVM, though. It's useful to me as it is!

Uh, obviously Access doesn't really care about the GVM on Nokia tablets. We're all beta testers for them. They plan on using the GVM in their current work, the Access Linux Platform (their version of the successor to Palm OS- Palm will have a second one in a year supposedly.) Basically they used this to work out bugs for their final ALP version of the emulator I'm sure.

By a strange coincidence, I received several "test" messages from access-company last night, one of which was from an individual. I enquied as to what was going on, and received this:
"Hi Steve,
We are preparing an update for those who downloaded the Garnet VM beta for
the Nokia tablet but the test email unintentionally gone out to some of
the users. My apologies."
The quotes are mine. Upon further enquiry, I received this:
"I'm sure you'll be happy with the new features...and it's still free!
"
When?, I asked, and received this:
"Still working on the final details. Look for it before the end of the
week."
(Me again) - So it looks as if there is an upgrade, and I am keeping my fingers crossed that it will use the N810 display better. If so, it will be the answer to most ofthe shortcomings I find with the N810

it is possible? because we´ve only 64mb available.

I've installed the update full screen portrait isn't bad and mathlib works. I can use Medcalc ! It wipes all programs on install however so I haven't tried on my main GVM as I need to use that today.

Alright, this new release looks pretty darn cool. Now that it's portrait full screen it's a lot more usable. I'll have fun playing with this.

I went about doing this with synergy.
its not optimize, so it lags.
that initial right click is needed to set up where the rom is located.
You can also start it from the command line, which would save you from having to right click, I think.
