I use the "Classic" scheme (available from the drop down list at the bottom left of the page), so I don't have this problem.

Looks like there is some problem with how the schemes are implemented - at the moment, I am typing Black text on a White background, but you will see it as White text on a Grey background. However, when I use Navy text on a White background, it is rendered to you as Navy text on a Grey background which is not, as you mention, an especially easy combination to read!

I have been having similar problems as those noted in this thread. I just downloaded version 2.0.4 and experienced the "white screen" problem noted. What a shame. Now what used to be a very useful program is gone as the most reasonable and efficient "solution" to this problem is to simply uninstall.

Try shutting down and removing the battery for a bit. Then try disable omweather.
Second way.
Try next action.
Create in your memory card a file with name - noomweather.txt and try to load your device once again.

Vlad.

OMWeather on Diablo...

I flashed Diablo this morning and have been putting it through its paces today.

One problem I'm having is with OMWeather. It loaded up fine and found my original settings. It displayed correctly however, whenever I tap "settings", I get a momentary white screen and the home page resets with the default settings with no applets!

Is anyone else having this problem or do I have some conflict on my device?

If it is a common problem I'll try to contact Vlad, if not, I'll reflash cleanly without using my back-up.

Ditto on the Diablo/White screen "settings" problem.

I tried the battery out for 10mins then reboot, it didn't work sadly.

Above Vlad suggested creating a "noomweather.txt" in the memory card.....any particular location? And which memory card:

N810, Internal or External?

Thanks for help. Love OMWeather, would be shame to not have it any more.

Thanks for any help.

Yeah it seems to be a definite Diablo problem and should not be confused with glitches that have been resolved in this thread in the past.

Mine just automatically updated and the first (sun) icon changed to the moon icon because of the time of day. When the screen attempted to redraw with the new graphic... bang! White screen and when it returned no OMWeather or any other home screen applets and my previously rearranged "panel" icons (on left) went back to their default locations.

You can get everything back without rebooting by running Control Panel (and maybe doing something there; I'm not sure), but that doesn't make Omweather work.
