Among the dozens of apps, applets, plugins and facilities we all dezire, there is one really simple (I think) and useful (so, the quotient useness/amount of time to put it on work, is maximal).
That is: some kind of automatic time adjustment (via NTP?) when the gadget goes into succesfull internet conexion. Its parameters could be configured via "Date/Time" item in control panel.
Agreed, keeping the time current can be quite important.
Most other devices can be made to adjust their clocks to the device you synch them to (Pocket PC's, phones) so they don't really need a built-in NTP (or similar) implementation if the host PC has one, but the 770 does.
