youtube tells me I now need a new flashplayer. fetched a tar.gz from adobe but once i had it unpacked (using terminal) I couldn't start the installer. What's the right way to do this?

Sorry, only Nokia can get a updated flashplayer for us.

Good news is that a newer one will be in Diablo (the next OS, in beta testing), I'm running a beta and I can tell you it's a lot faster.

Make sure Flash is enabled, browser sometimes disables it (magnifying glass icon -> components in os2008).

I hadn't even noticed that I could disable flash. Now, thanks to you, I know how to enable it, too! That solved my problem. Thank you.
