My Nokia 770 has been freezing up a lot lately. It doesn't freeze up all the time, only at certain times, so I can't show someone whenever I want. It's just a random thing.

What can I do to remedy this problem?

I got it 11 months ago, should I contact Nokia & see what they say?

Maybe they can fix it for me or replace it? My sister-in-law just got a replacement and they sent her an N800.

Should I try for that?

What number should I call?

My N810 started acting low, so I reflashed it and it's been working great ever since. Have you tried that?

Good grief, I meant "running slow" and not "acting low".

What is a "Reflash"...?

I did an update to it and that didn't help.

after it freezes up does it unfreeze?
if so... how many programs/web windows do you have open when it freezes up?
are you running off the flash card?
do you have the swap file enabled?

i do not work for nokia... so this is just conjecture but based on what you have written it sounds like you are running to much software at once

It really only happens when I am (only) running two Internet Windows at the same time. This is not normal.

The 770 is not a fast machine. Do you have Virtual Memory enabled?

I have another memory card in it, but this is a new issue and has never happened before. I have the device for 11 months.
