Actually, we envision streamlining these. Bugzilla is the best tool to handle quality assurance, and this holds true for community projects, too. I don't see any need to separate official and community apps into different bug tracking places (let alone tools). Managing all of them in b.m.o would be nice. However, this is a long term goal...

Nokia does see the need to keep clear separation between what is delivered and supported by Nokia from all the rest. This is the reason why b.m.o is now the way it is.

However, there must be ways to keep Nokia brand and liabilities safe while offering a more integrated environment and tools to third parties. The maemo-extras exercise might throw some light.

If you want to kick this discussion in maemo-developers we will follow. Now it's an appropriate time for all these _ontological_ questions about maemo.org.
