My wife actually ended up getting an n810 first - the day that it arrived, I managed to steal a couple moments with it and ordered my n800 that same day (the keyboard wasn't worth the $200 extra - and I could care less about GPS). Although I times, I am still envious of her screen and wonder if I could have learned to type with my large fingers on that little keyboard. *shrug*

heh, they keyboard may not be worth the extra money, but what about the screen?

meh, i would rather see a N800 with its 2 full size SDHC slots and the N810 screen, then a N810...

The screens are identical, aren't they? I have both tablets side by side and can't see any difference.

Ahh, the reflectivity. Point taken.

I don't normally use portable devices in direct sunlight but obviously some people do.

you dont even need direct sunlight, just that the primary light source is the sun.

i have been inside but in a sun lit room and had to turn up the backlight to have any chance of reading the screen on my N800...

I'm in Finland, I can't really get away from sunlight at this time of year (in a few weeks time it will be almost 24 hours!). :-)

I honestly don't notice that much difference between the tablet screens, but maybe it's just because I'm not usually in a room without some form of artificial lighting.

Just curious, you wife didn't steal my tablet too?

Sorry, I just had to ask?
